Team PRP has revealed its upcoming Nakaziro Pro Mod Monster Truck Chassis, a specialized racing platform designed for competitive RC monster truck enthusiasts. The new chassis features a low-center-of-gravity design intended to improve weight distribution and handling on the track.
One of the Nakaziro’s most interesting features is its LBUD configuration, which positions the battery and motor at the bottom of the chassis. Keeping these heavier components low can help reduce unwanted chassis movement and influence how the truck transfers weight during acceleration, cornering and jumping.
The chassis also incorporates Team PRP’s Katana steel chassis weights and Shogun transmission case. The transmission is designed to work with Traxxas Magnum 272R transmission internals, giving builders access to an established drivetrain component system. Team PRP recommends rear buggy shocks measuring approximately 92mm eye-to-eye for the chassis.
For racers looking to build a more complete truck, Team PRP has also previewed a Nakaziro Monster Truck Kit that includes its BAR racing axles. These axles are designed around selected Traxxas Extreme Heavy-Duty drivetrain components. Both versions are intended for experienced hobbyists comfortable assembling and tuning specialized racing vehicles.
The Nakaziro remains in development, with final pricing, specifications and availability still to be announced. Team PRP has published prototype photographs and preliminary component requirements on its website. For Pro Mod racers interested in a purpose-built chassis, this is one development worth keeping an eye on.
